International Journal of Energy Systems Planning and Optimization (ESPO) published by Kermanshah University of Technology invites researchers and academicians to submit their original research articles, review papers, and case studies for upcoming issues.

ESPO is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing knowledge in the fields of energy systems, planning, optimization, and sustainable development. The journal provides a platform for high-quality research that integrates engineering, economics, and environmental perspectives to address global energy challenges.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Renewable and sustainable energy systems (solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, hybrid systems)
  • Thermal sciences and multi-generation systems (waste heat recovery, cooling/heating, CHP)
  • Energy systems modeling, planning, and multi-objective optimization
  • Energy storage technologies (thermal, electrical, hydrogen, batteries)
  • Exergy, exergoeconomic, and environmental analysis (4E studies)
  • Smart grids, power systems, and integration of renewable energy
  • Energy policy, sustainable development, and techno-economic analysis
